Re: sodium, bilirubin and ph balance

Here are a couple of posts that may be of benefit to help you understand. Use the search word epsom salt in this forums search engine to learn how important magnesium is to our bodies.

I have done 9 liver flushes to date and experienced a remarkable improvement in my health, so this is not necessarily meant as a flame against the liver flush or liver flushers. In life there is a important saying that seems to extend to many things: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." When I frequented the liver flush forum, I was alarmed by many peoples' obsession with stone counting and being stone free vs improved health benefits from liver flushing. It appeared that many people were more interested in eliminating stones and stone counting rather than looking at why the gull and liver stones were formed in the first place. It dawned on me that a strategy that would change one's biochemistry to produce less stones and a regular maintenance schedule of liver flushes to rid the body of excessive stones was a more intelligent strategy.

I looked into factors that may lead or increase the formation of stones and sought to focus on this rather than get anal about releasing and counting stones. Some factors associated with ones diet are obvious. However, of interest here is the possibilty that castor oil pack use may reduce stone formation(I am still experimenting with this). Bkrisp also posted an important post that references how excess acidity can contribute to increased formation of gull/liver stones.

This is Bkrisp's original post regarding the link between excess acidity and stone formation: http://www.curezone.com/forums/m.asp?f=447&i=31473

My point, liver flushes are great given the multitude of positive health benefits people have experienced from doing them. Equally important is following a alkaline/Acid rebalancing diet if you really concerned about minimizing or preventing stone formation rather than just discharging current stones. Using liver flushes may help you discharge old stones but it certainly won't keep you from forming new ones and the foods you eat(which relate to excess acidity and lack of alkanizing minerals), and your lifestyle will all have an impact at the rate that you produce new stones. If your goal is to rid your body of all stones through liver flushes, you will not likely ever accompolish this goal if your diet and lifestyle are accelerating the formation of new stones.

Hi charles obscure,

Did you every consider that maybe "IF" you used the small pinch of Epsom Salt on a daily basis with each meal, that just maybe you would not have to do any Liver Flush or other Flushes?

Of course "IF" you may choose to handle things in a Drastic manner, then it is your choice to do Liver Flushes and the like!

For "IF" you were eating correctly as you mentioned, then "WHY" would you ever need to do a Liver Flush in the first place?

Smile Tis your choice.

I'm glad to see you on the pH balancing journey. :)
