Re: Vitamin A - are these amounts really safe?
Hi again..........
Firstly... WOW. Look at all the discussion that happens whilst I am sleeping.
Secondly... that is exactly what I was worried about with the Vitamin A.
I went and saw my doctor yesterday and she said that I my excessive bleeding was due to my Hashimoto's. And that there wasn't really anything that could be done for either situation. They refuse to give me Armour. They have given me thyroxine but it gives me migraine. As for the bleeding, her big suggestion was a hysterectomy. She is sending me for a D&C and she said that I will probably have a dozen D&C's before I get so frustrated I will want a hysterectomy. She said that my uterus was a useless organ to me now (that I have had my tubes done). And I should just have it out and go on HRT. And as for my low energy levels due to hypothyroidism, she wanted to give me testosterone!
So it seems that my doctor wants to turn me into a man. She herself has had a hysterectomy and is on HRT and has regular testosterone shots, which might explain why she is such a ball buster.
So I would like to try vitamin A (pretty desperate to try anything), but am also worried about toxicity.
Also, I have been taking maca for several weeks, but not making any difference as yet. When I have had this problem in the past maca didn't seem to help it.
