Indeed, high quality imported lemons are probably rare.

I live in Canada, and imported lemons are not cheap. Sometimes you can see green spots on them and they have thick "skin".

I don't mind the price for quality lemons but not unriped lemons.

This is why I use mostly ACV in my ML drinks and rarely lemons. But when I find good lemons, I must say the drink tastes a lot better.

A way to check the quality of lemon is to use a refractometer.
