Yes. One tablespoon of calcium hydroxide in one gallon of water will make its pH around 10-11. it is powerful stuff.
Moreless said you can add one tablespoon of that solution to any glass of liquid to cut excess of acidity.

then, I take 1 tbsp of the concentrate and dilute to 1 gallon of water.
I drink 2-4 glasses of this every day depending on my needs.
My pH was very acid (approx. 5.8) a year and a half ago and the alkalyzing diet was not working fast enough.
My pH is now within normal range. It is important to use care not to over-alkalize.
