It sounds like you've scratched the eczema until the skin has broken. This is very painful because the nerve endings are exposed. As the spots heal, you will begin to be able to tolerate cremes because the nerves will no longer be exposed. Be ready with a nurturing creme when the healing begins, though, because once the skin begins to heal, it helps to begin moisturizing it right away and nurturing it with antioxidents. That way, the newly healed skin won't end up having another eczema outbreak after it's healed.
