Banana poos are good, right? And other newbie Questions.
I have been reading about colon cleansing online with much fascination. I am in my 30’s and have never done anything like this before. I think I might want to try. But I have some questions and some skeptical observations.
First, I typically have a morning BM which eliminates quickly, smoothly and well formed (I call them banana poos). My diet is a variety of meat, grains, veggies, fruits and dairy. If I have bad diet day (splurge on sweets, skip my veggies or grains, etc, then the poo isn’t so nicely formed. So I am thinking, if I am doing mainly banana poos, then I must be clean already, right? How would there be room for impacted and coated stuff if I already have poos the shape of my large intestine?
Secondly, I am a little concerned about some of the pics I see out there of the mucous, rope-like passings. To me, I am thinking that maybe some companies could be putting
colonic cleansers out there so strong that they are actually destroying the lining of the large intestine and it sloughs off………that wouldn’t be good.
I have some health concerns that I would like to try to improve with a cleanse (chronic fatigue, sore lymph glands when I overextend myself, etc). I do have the gut feeling that my body is doing everything it can to keep a clean house, but that the minute I overtax it, it falls apart. So I think a detox of some kind might help.
Any thoughts out there?
Thanks a bunch in advance.
