Re: food allergy manifested as eczema

Cleaning up the residue that's left over in our bodies after having an eczema episode takes time. We can really put our bodies in a mess in a short period of time, and it takes quite a while for our immune systems to clean up. What helps the most is to increase foods in the diet that are rich in antioxidents such as beta carotene, zinc, and vitamin E. Using a creme on the eczema that has antioxidents in it also helps. I like Benadryl creme and Doctor's Defense Zen fusion creme. Another poster here found good results with Blue Poppy Herbs Eczema Ointment. Using non-irritating soaps and detergents that are fragrance free for sensitive skin is also helpful, and of course, moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.

Good luck, and please let us knows how it's going.
