Today my journey began. I woke to a fresh pot of brewed coffee that my lovely son had made for me. The temptation was too great and I had one cup with cream, but that is much better than my normal 4 or 5 cups. I have been drinking water all day plus some fresh carrot/cucumber/apple/celery juice.
Right now I'm having a cup of decaffeinated herbal tea with a drop of stevia.
My head has been aching since late afternoon. I stopped at a restaurant with some friends and sipped on my lemon water. Watching them eat wasn't 'so' bad, however, I wanted to rip the cups out of their hands to gulp down the coffee so my headache would go away.
I am determined that tomorrow I will not drink any coffee. Mostly water and some juice. I realize that the "hunger" I feel is more from habit than anything. I haven't experience any real hunger pangs at all.
