When I began my Master-Cleanse I had no desire for lemonade, so I went straight to water, and never wanted anything else. It felt right.
The downside is obviously the major lack of energy! I would not recommend a Water Fast if you have to accomplish... anything! I was fortunate to have the time to give to my personal project, basically a comparison fast. I have read in several reliable articles that "a ten day Water Fast is comparable to a 30 day juice fast". Personally I disagree.
Now, I tend to drink the minimum lemonade or juice, but my weight loss was virtually the same on water. This is the primary external check for me. I did a good flush of the colon, but the same is true for juice.
I enjoyed the water, but would never recommend it to anyone who has to keep a schedule. As you remember, I did 60 days and did my regular gym routine on the MC/juice combo! BIG difference!
Today I was virtually on the floor, barely had energy to juice a couple of oranges! Had to keep sitting down. Ridiculous.
I know I did good work, am glad I did it... but in the future I would probably layer water into a mono/multi juice routine.
