Happy go lucky or wants to have the cake and eat it?

Surely, it's not easy to find a way in the middle of our lives as individuals and as a couple.
I'm not sure why it bothers me to see him coming and going with his suitcase or going on holiday on his motorbike.
Probably, as Molly wrote, I just set the bar too high. But what people our age do?
To reply to Molly, his parents are happy to see him happy with me and his mother apparentely suggested him to marry me.
The thing is that while we had started talking about getting a place together or having a baby soon, he left with his motorbike, with the excuse of doing so in remembrance of a dead friend and never made any attempt to look for accommodation.
Okay, maybe he's hundred percent sincere. But when it text me saying that he was shattered after the ride with his friends I got really upset and replyed very sarcastically.
Now, I just think I'll never be able to trust this man, especially if we had a baby.
So, I just think I should lower that bar and start to redefine my life as a single with a casual lover.
To start with I'm planning a weekend in London on my own to visit my old friends.

Stef
