The real truth behind nonprotein nitrogen (NPN)

One poster keeps spewing misinformation about nonprotein nitrogen (NPN), which he clearly does not understand.   If he wants to avoid NPN then he better stop eating since NPN also includes amino acids.  Of course the body generates its own NPN as well to help form tissues and keep us healthy. For example,  there is the NPN uric acid, which is one of the body's primary antioxidants.  This poster really needs to not only learn about how the body works, but he really needs to learn some basic chemistry.  He cannot even get the definition of NPN right. Here is how he defined it:

"Your question: What is NPN?

Answer: Non-Protein Nitrogen.

Protein is made from Nitrogen by plants, but when the Nitrogen is not allowed to fully Complex and finish making True proteins, then the plant may have Free Nitrogen in the plant Tissues?

This Free Nitrogen is called NPN, because this Free Nitrogen was never Complexed into a True Protein ! !"

Amino acids are not free nitrogen.  Amines are not free nitrogen.  Urea, uric acid, and ammonia are not free nitrogen.........  Free nitrogen is called nitrogen, not NPN!!!
