I wonder if the reasons why tea , green , black or white, doesn't have the same effects of weight reduction on westerners, is because a lot of westerners add copious amounts of Sugar and milk to their tea, much the same as can be seen with western style coffee drinks.

I love jasmin tea (scented with real jasmin flowers), and I drink tea with most meals, I cannot drink it with Sugar or milk. Iced jiaogulan or rooibos tea is nice without sweetners, its a matter of re-training our western pallete to enjoy drinks and foods without them being sweetened.
