Solmare, I have never been big on eating foods that are marketed for animals since there is a tendency to use lower grade. Plus the advertisement does not say what kind of kelp it is. It very well may be a mixture of different kinds.

As you read more about this protocol you will learn that is may very well be important what kind....and how clean your kelp is.

If this is something you want to try because it is the best you can find and afford, I would go ahead and purchase it.

Do a search on this forum about kelp and read as much as you can and you will see what I'm talking about. Some kelps work better for some people than others.
