I use my extra fine mist sprayer and spray under the tongue and as I'm spraying, I inhale and let the fine mist go into my lungs. If one sprays directly down the throat or in the mouth you could end up with some larger droplets getting in the lungs and that will make you cough and wheeze quite a bit.
