I had a lot of problems when I was a baby. I had very bad pneumonia several times in which they thought they were going to lose me due to the high fever, and I had an allergy to milk as a child. After the age of 5 I outgrew my allergies and have been healthy since. Of course I get the occasional cold or whatever. But the only thing I had serious was the measles when I was 26. The first day I had a fever of 107F. The next day it dropped to 104F and stayed there for a week. I got the rash head to toe and it really did job on my vision. I finally got my vision back with juniper berries. Other than that I have been really healthy. No allergies, no blood sugar problems, no nothing.
What do I contribute to it? Well, I refuse to go to doctors. Last time I went was when I was 16 with an upper respiratory infection. He pissed me off so bad that I swore I would never go to another doctor and I haven't since.
And I avoid stress as much as possible, which is the primary thing I feel keeps me healthy. I try not to worry about things as worrying does not change a thing. And the majority of the time things turn out differently than we expected. So people tend to worry too often over nothing. Just keep believing that everything will be alright.
I don't care much for alcohol, so I rarely drink. And I don't have caffeine very often.
I don't set an alarm unless I absolutely have to. Otherwise I go to sleep when I am tired and wake up whenever I wake up.
And I don't put up with a lot of crap form people. I don't care who they are. I have walked away from a lot of jobs because of crap. No amount of money is worth losing your health over stress. So if people don't want to treat you with respect then you need to tell them what you think then walk away.
I can eat whatever without a problem and generally do. But I love my hot sauce and eat a lot of spicy foods.
As often as I can I go for extremely long hikes out in the desert or mountains or go scuba diving as these are very relaxing for me.
And I get lots hugs from my friends, which are the best stress relievers.
