Re: symptoms of adrenal problems?

It is hard to say if it is an adrenal issue since that is not much to go on. It really sounds more like a thyroid issue, but low adrenals can be a contributing factor to hypothyroidism. I highly recommend having her do her basal body temperature for a week or two first to make sure that the thyroid is not an issue. With all the fluoride we are being exposed to in our water and the foods and drinks being made with fluoridated water we are going to see more and more cases of hypothyroidism. Fluoride is a halogen like iodine, and it can displace iodine causing hypothyrodism. There is a long list of other causes as well, so I would consider this a likely possibility. I have posted instructions for basal body temperature several times.

As for the adrenals vitamin C rich foods (watercress, papaya, kiwis, and berries) and vitamin B sources (rice bran, oat bran, pollen, and nutritional yeast) would be a good start. As for herbs I would focus on ashwagandha since it also works on the thyroid, and schisandra berry, both of which can be found in capsules. They are best taken 3 times daily before meals.
