Re: Are Hair Metals tests accurate?
I have been taking
Iodine supplements,(iodine chelates lead), selenium, vitamin C, magnesium, zinc, silica and various other supplements. What I found was that it is very important before you start any form of chelation , is to have all your channels of elimination working properly. If you don't do this, you will stir up a lot of heavy metals and toxins with no way of getting rid of them from the body. By channels of elimination, I mean your kidneys, liver, lungs , skin etc, all the channels that the body uses to eliminate toxins.
The hair analysis I had done was to confirm that I had indeed gotten rid of a lot of toxic buildup. The friend that did the hair analysis works for the Environmental Protection Agency over here in Aus, and does a lot of hair and feather analysis on animals and humans, so I trust his results. I knew that I had a lot of lead exposure as a child so the lead that was being removed from my body was no real surprise, the aluminium levels were a surprise though.
