Re: Allow me to clarify

The alcohol is used as a solvent IF it is used to extract the medicinal properties out of the herb. Here you are using it as a diluent to the tea which you made using water to extract the herbal properties. What does the School of Natural Healing say is the best thing to use to extract the properties of wormwood? I used vodka when I used some of the herbs from mountainrose herbs to make a tincture similar to the ingredients Barefoot has in his dewormer. That was an experiment, but I didn't depend on it too much to kill parasites. I added the herbs up to the top of the jar, jammed them down by hand, then let the timcture steep for 14 days. Inverted the container several times a day. No way of telling what the ratio of herbs to alcohol was. Fresh tea made from fresh herbs is probably more effective, if you can do it. Do you have a problem getting Barefoot's dewormer or are you just experimenting? Why don't you just add a tsp of alcohol to your tea if it makes you feel better.
For each herb, there is a different way of making the tea from it. Some just steeps in a cup for 5 minutes, some have to boil for a while. Find out how wormwood tea is made, then add the alcohol and the other stuff. You won't end up with a tincture, but you might end up happy. I have no idea how efficient it will be at killing off the parasites. Usually i'ts best to have other balancing ingredients in a dewormer.
