For fresh breath try this

Chew a fresh leaf of bee balm or mint or parsley! Indians used to chew on a sprig of parsley after a meal for fresh breath and for digestion.

Bee balm is a natural antiseptic, is very high in vit. C and thymerisol (sp?), which is one of the main ingredients in mouthwash. I just found bee balm out in our garden (very odd looking but pretty flowers) and shocked a friend by picking up a bloom from a bouquet in a vase and started munching on a leaf (I put on a very cow-like look as I did it for a laugh). They taste minty with a hint of sage. Quite pleasant! When I move away in a couple years, I plan on taking some of the bee balm with me. I love it.
