I used to have several recipes for dandelions, but I'm not sure where I put them at the moment. I do have a "weeds" cookbook, so maybe that's where the recipes are. I'll try to remember to look them up over the weekend. From what I can recall, here's a couple ways to prepare (besides wine and salad) that some folks may not realize:
• Bread the blooms with a dusting of seasoned flour and fry them. The blooms are VERY high in vitamin C. They're supposed to be very tasty this way (you can do the same with day lily buds).
• Dry and grind the roots for making dandelion coffee. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I have no idea if this would be any good or not.
