New here, need plan to restore adrenal health before insomnia kills me, feedback sought

I am going to try and keep this short. I have been reading CureZone Forums for the last couple months and gathering as much information as possible. Naturally, it has been an overwhelming amount of information to consider and sort through. Any feedback at this point would be appreciated.

Nutshell: High stress throughout life, starting at 2-3 years old. High stress and anxiety combined with poor diet led to significant change in metabolism in high school. Constant hunger (malaise/weak feeling when without food), ice cold hands and feet, and some sleep disturbances were the first problems to come about. A decade later and a bunch of new symptoms exist and the insomnia is out of control. I wake after only a couple hours and if I ever fall back asleep, it is usually brief and broken. Running on 3 hours of sleep doesn't appear possible for me, so I have to spend quite a bit of time just resting.

I have strong reason to suspect that my aldosterone is low. I am almost 100% positive it is.
Cortisol levels? I still haven't figured this out. I guess it could be possible that they are low and high based on some things I have read recently.

Lately, I have been in a trial and error stage, just trying things like vitamin c (3g), apple cider vinegar (digestion), and coconut oil (thyroid), Phosphatidyl Serine (cortisol), to name a few things I have tried. I read today that high vitamin c might not be great for recovering adrenals, and I am starting to lean that way based on something I noticed.
