--Kelp vs Elemental Iodine & the Arsenic Deception--
Hi Ya'll,
Some Purest folks claim they don't want to use Kelp because it contains Trace amounts of Arsenic.
Maybe these Purest should analyze the foods they are eating, then they may decide to Stop eating any food, because --ALL-- foods contain trace amounts of Arsenic!
What may determine if the Arsenic in the foods we are eating is going to Harm us or not?
What about our Heart which needs Trace amounts of Arsenic to function properly?
What about Asparagus, which is one of the Vegetables that contain High amounts of Arsenic Naturally?
Maybe this Quote will shed some Lite upon the subject of Why Arsenic may be a Poison in one case and may not be a Poison in another case?
Quote: "Xiaoguang Meng and colleague George Korfiatis, both at Stevens Institute of Technology in New
Jersey, have developed a filtration system cheap enough for villagers in Bangladesh,
where groundwater is naturally contaminated with arsenic.
Meng's process requires just two buckets, some sand, and
a tea-bag-sized packet of iron-based powder. Pour tainted
water into one bucket, along with the powder, and stir.
Arsenic bonds to the iron and coagulates out of the water.
After a minute, pour the mix into a second bucket filled
with 4 inches of sand.
The sand filters out the arsenic-iron particles, leaving the
water pure."
As one may see the use of Iron, which is an Alkaline Minerals Neutralizes the Arsenic!
Why would it be so Hard to see that as long as the foods we eat contain enough of the needed Alkaline Minerals and Live Carbons that Arsenic Poisoning may not be a problem!
Could this be Why so many folks taking Iodine run into Sickness and supposed Detox symptoms, which really may just be Iodine Poisoning because they are Failing to supply the needed Live Carbons and needed Alkaline Minerals to match this amount of Iodine?
It all has to do with the ratios of an Element, which may act as a Poison when Lacking the amount of needed Alkaline Minerals and Live Carbons!
Here is a report on what happens when there is Arsenic Deficiencies: The most impressive reported sign of arsenic deficiency is decreased growth of goats, impaired success of the first service and conception rates, greater absorption of fetuses during pregnancy, and higher mortality rate during the second lactation. There is often sudden death, and the mitochondria of the cardiac muscle showed ultrastructural changes in deficient goats. The most consistent signs of arsenic deprivation in rodents are decreased growth, higher death rate of young, rougher and yellowish hair coats (in white rats), elevated erythrocytes osmotic fragility, elevated spleen iron and splenomegaly.
After all those Purest recommending Elemental Iodine seem to have forgotten that Trace amounts of Arsenic are needed by our Hearts and Elemental Iodine is a Poison!
Toxic effects of ingesting iodine, a potent antiseptic with low tissue toxicity. Symptoms include burning pain in the mouth and esophagus, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, delirium, shock, nephritis, laryngeal edema, and circulatory collapse. The mucous membranes are stained brown by the iodine.

The Truth about Top Quality Kelp may be that it contains both Iodine and Arsenic, but in forms which are bound in an Organic Complex with the other needed Alkaline Minerals, which may Prevent us from being Poisoned by either the Iodine or the Arsenic!
Ah, but the Purple Pill Iodine pushers may be caught up in the clouds of Purple Poisoning, which may have affected their better understanding?
Surely this could not be so?
Could it be?
iodism (iodine poisoning) (ī´-diz´m),
n an acute or chronic intoxication caused by the ingestion or absorption of iodides. Manifestations of acute poisoning include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, hypersalivation, conjunctivitis, and collapse. Chronic manifestations include hypersalivation, fever, acute rhinitis, swelling and tenderness of the salivary glands, and dermatitis and stomatitis in hypersensitive individuals. Iodism is a toxic condition that sometimes follows the use of preparations containing iodine.
