Re: Dark circles and kidneys

The dark circles are a sign of dehydration. Cleaning the kidneys helps them to work better but you still need to work at rehydrating yourself and supporting the adrenals. Licorice and Tulsi (Holy Basil) are good herbs to support the adrenals. Licorice is also a demulcent.
Water in itself can act as a diuretic if you don't have the right electrolyte balance to allow the kidneys to regulate your fluid content. Remember to add a little salt to your diet if you drink more than 1 litre of water a day and consider drinking some SmartWater (made by Glaceau water company - it's the adult size of PediaLyte and alot cheaper)to replenish your electrolytes.

You may want to try drinking some licorice tea. Yogi Tea makes two nice teas - Egyptian Licorice tea and Egyptian Licorice Mint tea. Om Organics makes a nice Tulsi tea.
Give yourself time too. If you've been depleted you won't rehydrate overnight.
