I just started practicing yoga again this weekend... and per Uny, I have a "compromised liver".. (lots of flukes.. lots of stones.. problems with digestion... heartburn.. etc.. )
When I practiced yoga this weekend, anytime I did any positions that put pressure, or squeezing action on the liver, I felt what I would consider "discomfort" in the area of my liver.. also, during, and after certain positions, I would have a massive rush of heartburn... that would last a minute or two.. then completely disappear.
I'm thinking that my liver was "squeezed" and tons of bile came out, causing the discomfort, and heart burn.. then once the position was released.. the bile continued through my system.
So, is it ok to practice yoga if my liver is clogged? or am I going to end up creating a problem? I did notice that after my practice, my liver area was MUCH less swollen...
(btw.. I've already completed 6 liver flushes.. and continue to do so on a regular basis.. I start Uny's liver cleanse herbal tea and tinctures later this week.. )
