Rev 17:14, says that the antichrist and his world government will fight against the Lamb, Jesus Christ and Daniel 8:25 says that the antichrist will stand up against the Prince of princes. This is the last war to ever be fought on earth....which is called the Battle of Armageddon.
2Thessalonians 2:8 says that at this time the Lord will consume the antichrist with the spirit of his mouth, and destroy him with the brightness of his coming.
9The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, 10and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
Those who don't worship the beast or receive his mark will live and reign with Christ a thousand years during His millennial kingdom (revelation 20:4) Satan will be bound until the 1000 years are over. So, he isn't detroyed ....he is bound at this time.
The world will finally realize that their worldy concerns about political, economic or religious conflicts were not the real source of war.
During this 1000 years, new generations will be born and they too will be given free will to choose for themselves after being given the opportunity to hear the Truth without satans influence. Satan will be unbound and free to teach the knowledge of evil and tempt people with his ways. These new generations will have to choose just like we do.....whom they want to serve.
How loving and patient our God truly is.
