Re: burning in my right side

There is a lot to think about so don't jump to any conclusions. Diets can have side effects because they change the habits of the bowel and can easily to lead to IBS type condition. One such condition is slow emptying of the stomach which causes a pain on the right hand side slightly above the navel level and below the rib margin. Whereas gallbladder pain is on or above the rib line and/or towards the 'v' of the rib cage spreading to the back between the shoulder blades and/or right shoulder. Liver Flushing also changes the dynamics of the digestive stem and may also give rise to temporary IBS type conditions.

People who exercise, especially runners, and diet at the same time often have these problems when not exercising.

If you stools a relatively normal then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Make subtle changes to you lifestyle, exercise gentle (walking is fine) and drink plenty of good water between meals. (Not with meals and this can dilute stomach acid and delay stomach emptying)

Don't get this confused with a condition called gastroparesis which is the chronic condition, most peoples are intermittent or temporary.
