I have been trying to do a Water Fast for a long time, but I always end up quitting after two or three days. I don't give in because of the cravings, but because I feel sick and at some point during my second or third day I always feel like I am going to faint, so I eat something out of fear of "dying" of hypoglycemia or something of the kind. If I could I would do some kind of fast that is not so abrasive as a water fast, but I can't do a juice fast or a master cleanse because I am allergic to every single fruit, and to maple syrup. I really want to fast. I have read so much about it and I want to enjoy the benefits of a longer fast than the ones I have "accomplished." I was wondering if my body would "leave" the fasting phase if I drank some nonfat milk when I felt really weak? Do you have any suggestions or words of wisdom? If you have any information that could help me not feel this fear, PLEASE share!!
