Re: help me , i think i have adrenal problem
I found my adrenals to be very low and did the 20mg of Cortef, glandulars, VitC and B's. I couldn't afford the other supplements Dr. offered. Then I studied candida and decided to do a treatment for it. All my symptoms improved except fatigue, and a year later my thyroid improved. I am still hypoadrenal, but when I get away from the toxins around me, I improve. The candida was poisoning my adrenals. I found a good adrenal book, by Dr. James Wilson,
http://www.adrenalfatigue.org
and used his supplements, which were good, and after 6 months, someone sold me some Himalayan Goji Juice, which replaced everything that I was taking, including the Cortef. Actually, I had a compounding pharmacy doing my hydrocortisone, to illiminate fillers that were sort-of toxic. It took me a while to discover how many household toxins were messing with my adrenals. Organic food made a difference too. You should see all the poison that farmers use!
In fact, i have had to keep goji juice around, or Limu Plus, but this summer i haven't been able to buy them $$$, and have been able to get by with homemade kefir (with a little salt in it), kombucha helps if it's a little sweet, otherwise it lowers my blood sugar. I have been taking several drops of H202 (food grade) each morning for a couple of months. My adrenals seem to like it. Then wait at least 45 min. before eating. A Muslim (Pakistani) woman told me about Black Seed, which seems to be helping me lose weight, but I have also begun making pop with baking yeast, and have discovered an excellent source of natural vitamin B's. I tried it first with sassafrass, adding a cup, I think, of
Sugar and it used the
Sugar up rather quickly, almost exploding. This has given me extra energy, even though this house is very toxic and it is over 80 degrees outside. I don't drink too much, because it feels like I will O.D. if I do. I also don't use high potassium fruit juice until late in the day. I will tax me. I eat very simply and organic, if possible. I eat a lot of eggs and not much meat. I make my own organic flat bread, but have switched to a pancake recipe recently. It rolls up easier. I don't use baking powder, but b.soda and the kefir. I may change over to brown rice again for a while.
If I could move, and I hope I can soon, to a non-toxic unit, I could improve very quickly. It's one thing to look for supplements, but the cause can usually be addressed by finding out what is toxifying your body and causing the glands to be querky. It is so automatic for us to think of taking another supplement, and another...trying and trying, but more importantly let's think of what we need to remove from our bodies, diets, homes. I mean, as a principle. Our lungs can ingest a remarkable quantity of poison in one hour. I can smell all of that stuff that no one else can. I'm amazed that everyone doesn't have cancer.
You need to check the candida issue (www.thecandidayeastanswer.com [free book]),
Amalgam fillings, and address any on-going infections. Otherwise all that we will be doing is treating the symptoms instead of the cause. You don't think that you got this way automatically? We did this to ourselves because everyone is treating us, but no one is teaching us. When we get rid of the poison, in whatever form it comes, we will begin to mend. That's why colon cleansing works for a while; why fasting works for a while. Remove the unnatural, and the natural will resume its functioning. It seems that almost no one has a grasp as to how impossible it is to maintain our health without our beneficial intestinal flora. The Dr. says eat some yogurt. You gotta be kidding me! You might as well use it as an enema. Then it might do a little good. Also, Candida is NOT part of our beneficial bacteria! If it is, then let's start making probiotics out of it. E.coli doesn't belong down there either. You will stay confused by statements like that. These are infections that continually poison us and bring down the strength of our glands, causing various syndromes. Believe me, our immune system gets enough of a work-out without having the gut full of pathogens. We live in an ocean of microbes, as it were. We breath them, eat them, and most of us don't come close to having adequalte immunity. I do. I at least come close. I haven't had an infection, cold or flu in about six years. Even an on-going dental infection can cause diabetic symptoms, ect. That is also what prescription drugs do to our bodies -- they manipulate our hormones. How else can they effect an entire system of the body. I wasn't going to say all of this, but maybe it will help someone who needs it. God bless.
