Re: A couple of Chrisb1 questions
Hi Mighty,
I completely agree with Roooth.
1. The return of genuine hunger always occurs BEFORE the onset of starvation, as
Shelton described as "in all savable cases": meaning those who are not terminal and the life force is not so drained that recovery is possible.
The body will just not allow starvation, or the feeding from its vital organs, without prior warning, just as the body will warn against genuine thirst and before dehydration becomes too severe and any bodily damage is allowed to occur.
2. Genuine hunger does not signify that toxemia has been completely eliminated, it just means that food reserves are running dangerously low, and refeeding is imperative, whether this be a deficiency in vitamins/minerals or whatever.
Second and subsequent fasts are sometimes necessary to complete this elimination and for the maximum healing to take place.
The body knows best in deciding its own fate and/or survival
Genuine hunger is genuine hunger and reveals its intensity from whatever type of nutrient/s are being depleted.
3. The clearing of a coated tongue is only one indication that toxemia has been eliminated, but if hunger returns and the tongue remains coated then toxemia is still present.
In my view and experience you would have had greater elimination if undergoing complete rest during the fast, as this is how the maximum detox takes place.
