Re: 26 day update
Hi Curtis,
re: "Informative post. I have a question about your water intake, as I've been having trouble with that. What time of the day do you get your water intake, and how much?"
Well generally i have been drinking from about 10am to 2 or 4 pm and getting my 2 hours of exercise within that window. When i am walking 2 hours per day, i find that i need about 6-8 cups per day to satisfy my thirst. When i am exercising very little, i find that 3-4 cups gets the job done.
re: "I've been feeling that drinking later in the day can effect my weigh-ins,..."
I'm not sure why your weigh ins are important. Perhaps you can elaborate. But to get an accurate weight every day, there is no comparison to waking up, urinating and getting it then, the same time every day.
re: "and also that not drinking enough is causing me to urinate less and retain water, also effecting weigh-ins. Do you have any advice for me?"
Personally i'm not worried about how much or how little water i retain in a fast. Again, there seems to be an issue with weigh ins for you that makes this important? (Are you in a weight loss contest with a buddy?
) I do believe that, paradoxically, more water flushes out more sodium which in turn flushes out more water than you took in. If it is important to you that you flush out more water from your system, then you would want to drink more. If on the other hand it is important to you to give your kidneys a break and get a stronger cleanse, it is better to drink less.
