Hi, I'm in your shoes. I don't feel so great as I'm sluggish and my bowel movements are also sluggish. Maybe you should try to eat more fiber and drink more water. Have you tried elimination diet? You could try to google it and see if it helps. Also Magnesium is really good to regulate your bowels but don't take too much or you'll get diarrhea (maybe a flush now and then doesn't hurt).
I have been going to the bathroom every 3 days for my whole life and finally now I'm doing something about it. If you're similar then I think you should go to a doctor if increased fiber, water and magnesium doesn't help. The underlying problem is much more important since it can lead to other types of symptoms (and sluggish bowels just being one of them). I think your solutions that you're using (and you may receive online) are only temporary, that's why I'm telling you to see a doctor if this doesn't work. Good luck.
