Re: Proper way to prepare tea

many herbs do not taste good, actually most don't....maybe that is why they call them all weeds....

so the american indians had to have clay jars......other than a skin of an animal, i don't quite know how the indians in my part of the usa would have carried or stored water...but i doubt they had clay made jars and glass is out of the question.

your way of tea making is fine, but i would consider the weakest made tea possible; but as your pointing out, you still don't like the potent taste.

i have read the indians simply chewed their herbs and were known to store a small amount from 1 season to the next...but when you live in the woods and know where everything is and know what works....i doubt you had to store much of anything unless you kept a bag for emergency or travel use.

mild / strong / condensed
all 3 methods capture the chemicals / minerals in your teas that are water soluable......which is the safest method.....so when the government bans herbs, odds are they will bad all the extracts and capsules and maybe leave the teas alone? because i have never read that the government has any cares about what tea you drink, because they in general taste to bad and the toxic type plants taste so bad a human will not drink them..
