Re: Hey Valerie-How much is enough?
All I can say is that after a cleansing program most people have a sense as to whether they are clean inside or not. During your last few
colonics were you still releasing significant quantities of old waste matter? If not, do you feel lighter and more energetic now than when you started on the program?
If you give yourself an enema at home after a natural BM, does it produce a large quantity of additional stool? If so, have you tried following up right afterwards with a second enema to get a feel for how much more waste might be still be in there?
Your colon therapist should have shown you how to feel around the outline of your colon to get a sense of whether or not you have pockets of waste matter in there still clogging things up.
The next time you have a
colonic or an enema series, lie on your back and feel all around your abdomen to become familiar with how your empty colon feels. Then if there is a "next time" that you don't have a BM for a few days, feel around that same area and you should be able to tell the difference. It's usually fairly pronounced, and not that difficult to distinguish between a colon that is full versus one that is empty.
