Fasting not one size fits all

What has been occuring to me is that fasting cannot be one size fits all. Surely it depends on one's health and weight going in. I am on my first long fast (water fast with herbal teas thrown in) and am on day 13. I've only gone on one five day fast before.

Do your benefits/results depend on if you have reached your body's ideal weight or not? I am aiming for a 30 day fast. At the end, I expect to be at the maximum on the army weight chart for my height and age. Will I see some healing or will I need to continue my fast until my body is at a more ideal weight? I intend to eat a low calorie diet with lots of fresh vegetables from our garden at the conclusion of the diet.

I would love to hear from someone experienced with multiple fasts that has ended a long fast with more weight left to lose to find out their experience.
