Re: New Poster (sorry long msg) Need Advice Day 22 completed
Hi Postit,
"Right now, I'm on day 22 of water fasting (dilluted water), and frankly have not had a single "good day"."
I am sorry to hear this postit, you have my sympathy. Cleaning out nasty toxins can be an unpleasant business, but the reward is that you will feel amazingly better once you are done.
"I'm 5'4", started at 168lbs, and currenly weight about 147. In the last 10 days, my weight loss was less than 6 lbs."
This to me indicates that most of the water your body is going to surrender has been surrendered. You are probably losing about .4 or .5 pounds of fat per day at this point with a slowed metabolism.
"so the first 10 days went ok, just fatigue as expected, but in the last 10 days or so, I always feel like puking, all but once nothing really came up (the one time it came out was a handful of bright yellow liquid). Basically I'm feeling so merisable that I'm thinking if I should end the fast (I was planning on a 30 days fast)."
Nausia is a common healing crisis symptom, usually some point deeper into the fast (as for you after about 10 days). It is commonly spoken in the annals of fasting wisdom that it is best not to end a fast until you emerge from such a healing crisis. Your body is doing some valuable work, eliminating some nasty stuff. If you can (if possible within your nausia), if you are not moving around much, it would be great to get up and walk, even if only for 5 minutes in the morning and 5 more in the evening. Clearing the Lymphs is great and moving around might make you feel a bit better.
"I've done enema three times, colonic one time (that's when I puked); and they made me so light headed everytime I do it and my tummy feel so heavy so I don't do it as often as I should."
I used to do enemas, but chrisb1 (and Dr. Herbert Shelton himself) convinced me that a person in a fast is better off without them. "Mind your own business and let the bowels mind theirs". It also makes fasting a lot easier for me to not be saddled with this 2 times per day burden.
