I stopped at Wal Greens and looked at theirs the other day. It IS different from WalMarts.

The walmart one--the white tubing fits over the rectal tube, but refused to fit over the plug that turns it from a water bottle to an enema bag. Now, it has fit before, so all I can figure is they changed to a cheaper white tubing that doesn't stretch like the other, on the assumption no one REALLY uses it for an enema bag. They are SO inexpensive (less than $5 for a combo) that no one is going to complain. I may check with my neighbor--funny you should mention it, but I picked one up for her at walmart after her baby was born in October....and she said she managed to get her tubing on, but it was difficult. I actually took one back to walmart--and got another. STILL couldn't get the tubing on the adapter--tried stretching it, cutting at an angle, till I finally did it slanted, and made up for the leak with duct tape. If it were an emergency situation though, that would be bad.

Thanks for the link. Maybe I'll see if someone will buy me one for Christmas! That would certainly bring some attention.

I have to add one thing. Although the colonics ARE expensive, and I'm moving towards being more 'independant'--when I run into REALLY healthy, health concious people in the city I go to for colonics, and ask if they know Miss L.....they say "Yes" isn't she wonderful? It's almost become a 'survey' with me....I meet someone new, and ask if they know Miss L....and I am amazed at how many sincerely looking for health, or health "professionals" (mostly alternative) know her. It amazes me....and I joke about putting on one of those plastic stickers on my car that reads...."need colonics?"

And when I run into some frustrating people (which this time of the year brings the best and worst out in people) I think, ah, they are probably just constipated (and if they are downright rude I think "ah, their (colon) just full of crap". It makes me smile--and as long as it doesn't slip out outloud, I'm in good shape.

I was on the phone with a computer helper line the other night....cause my computer was running SO slow, and cracked the gal up (hey, it was the middle of the night) when I answered her question "What seems to be the problem?" with "My computer is constipated!" She showed me how to 'clear' some of the extra 'crap' off it.
