Both Hydrogen Peroxide and old fashioned original Clorox bleach are inexpensive, so if you want to clean out your personal or family enema bag, I would suggest that you use Hydrogen Peroxide at 100% and Clorox at about 50% diluted with 50% water.
The important thing is to let the equipment, bag and tubing, hang freely and air dry for 3 days or so. Then when you are ready to use it again, fill the bag with plain water and let it empty to rinse away any Clorox residue.
If you give enemas to several family members on a regular basis, it is best that each have their own personal equipment. Use a different brand or color for each so as not to get them confused.
