I have a question for you. If you remember awhile back, I told you of the water fast (done in Jan. 2008) that had disastrous consequences for me. Through both muscle testing and blood work I could see that my thyroid and liver just about shut down. The only time my liver enzymes have ever skyrocketed, and I have had them checked on a sporadic basis over the years. Anyway, I saw my kinesiologist today and brought this up again. It was a mystery back then what happened. Since then we have discovered some liver "issues"....and some were genetic pre-dispositions that have been dealt with. I am sure there might be others. Plus there was an infection in my small intestines that was causing my body to misread my liver. His feeling today is that the thyroid was so severely affected because of my liver - essentially it couldn't clear from my body and metabolize hormones any longer, which in turn had an effect on the glands, because of the feedback loop. Do you think one of the reasons that people may suffer from thyroid problems may be because of an under performing liver? Do people report this over on the iodine forum? I hadn't looked at it from this perspective, and I went into the visit postive it was something else.
