Re: Meat and Fish etc.

LOL!!!!  Giggle on big guy LOL.  I love my Vita-Mix but you do have a point about taking it with me wherever I go.  I'll have to admit I'm thinking about going to visit a friend of mine this summer in another state and I've already decided to pack the Vita-Mix and take it as my carry-on on the plane.  I really at this point have no choice if I want to continue to feed my body the nutrition it deserves and needs so badly.

I'm sure that sooner or later I'll be able to cook the greens and like the taste of them without using the Vita-Mix but I haven't had the courage yet to test it and see if my tastes have changed that much lol. But for the time being I HAVE to have my Vita-Mix, in fact I feel like its saved my life.  I know that sounds stupid but believe me I'm getting nutrition now that I have never before put in my body thanks to the Vita-Mix.

Its good you got free fresh caught fish, I think thats the best kind but I know what you mean about over doing it.  If I would have had a steak about 1/4 of the size mine was it would have been plenty and I would have really enjoyed it but I felt like I was wasting it so I ate almost half of it before I quit. Stupid mistake but I've learned my lesson.  I remember when I was a child and my grandmother told me to eat everything on my plate because its bad to be wasteful.  Old habits die hard and thats a big part of the obesity problem today.

Grass fed beef taste a lot different than that the stores sell that have been raised for quick slaughter. Grass fed is much fresher tasting, I think I once told you I didn't like the taste of grass fed because I was used to the other kind.  People here raise their own grass fed cows for eating and they used to share with me but I could never cover up the different taste so I stopped eating it.

I have found that since I've radically changed my diet and haven't eaten any meat in a very long time I can appreciate just how good grass fed beef is and I'm thinking a much smaller portion would be a good thing every once and awhile.
