Re: parasite question/RE: dog in the house

My pets do go outside on a leash on green grass. However I watch them and make sure they do not have ticks or are allowed to be bitten up by mosquitoes. In other words, I know they are domesticated animals and I should treat them as well as I treat myself. Pets can be more loving than humans, sometimes. Mine repond well to the love I give them. They are good company. It's been proven that having them around can lower blood pressure in humans. They have feeling, too, and should be treated like members of the family. They can pick up lots of parasties, too, so all the more reason to take care of them. Only one of my animals has ever had a shot and that was a rabies shot. Before I knew so much better. You can take your pet for a walk the same time you take yourself for a walk. Keep them away from the excrement of other dogs. The woods is a fun place to hike or just walk and take your pets, and it's rather clean, too.
