Re: FAO Hveragerthi

Thanks so much I cant thank you enough.

If I may, a couple of additional queries?

1. I have heard you say on another post milk thistle doesnt cleanse the liver, I thought it does, now I want to buy in some swedish bitters but will that suffice, i.e. do they content of the bitters contain what is needed to do the cleansing, or should I look for certain herbs etc separately?

2. In relaiton to Methlyation, I have tried / still supplement l-methionine and have also tried the expensive SAMe and neither helped much. Someone said try TMG and a form of folic acid called L-methylfolate(MTHF). Do you know if I should stick with my methionine (which makes me very jittery) or would TMG and potentially this MTHF be the better choice?

3. Is there any other herbs or supplements in addition to glutamine to help heal the gut quicker?

4. Does the HCL deficiency and best practice to get over this also apply to bacterial dysbosis?

5. Is there any long term negative effects of taking pro-biotics or could someone theoretically take them every day for the rest of thier life?

6. Are the swedish bitters only a short term aid or could someone take them for every day for life? Are there any specific time periods when I should start winding up my intake of bitters?

7. Even with the correct methylation, the correct levels of HCL and the correct levels of vitamins and minerals (all being absorbed), could someobody still become HCL deficient based on lifestyle factors, i.e. poor eating habits, eating to fast, too much booze etc?

I know its a lot of questions but I have felt so awful and oyur knowledge has give me a chink of light and other avenues to pursue...
