Re: ISO of ENEMAS rather than colonic irrigations.

I hear what you're saying. I am very aware that carelessness doing an enema, attempting a deep reach, can cause injury resulting in a perforated large intestine. I have had these hi-enemas as I refer to them given to me in the past by a nurse who would administer them. My feeling was that if I was requesting a procedure or action that might do me injury, she would have refused. Like you, when I started the enema, I was on my left side, and after a bit of water passing, I was soon in the knee-chest position, with my bottom up in the air, and the tube was slowly continually inserted until it was totally inside me. Yes, a first enema gives a good result for follow-up enema(s) and cleansing of the large intestine. Lastly, I am as I said, aware of the dangers of not being careful and prudent when self administering or having an enema administered (been a while)by someone.

But, as my first post asked: ISO ENEMAS rather than colonics, and I hope to hear from someone soon.
