Clear Colonoscopy: Cleansing Still Needed?

As a person growing up in the 40's, enemas were a frequent household remedy. I have used enemas for lassitude, constipation, and occasionally just because it seems like it would be helpful. In the months since joining CureZone, I have read with interest a lot about cleansing. It makes sense to me, especially since I have not been feeling "up to snuff" for several months now.

My regular doctor recently ordered a colonoscopy. The gastroenterologist showed me four color slides of my colon.
One was near the beginning. There were two along the length of the colon and one near the end. There were no polyps, he reported. To my untrained eye, the colon looked clean, pink and healthy. My question: Is there still a possibility that cleansing would be beneficial? Would the specialist not have seen unhealthy matter along the way?

This is my first post to the forum. I eagerly await whatever information people have for me.
