Right from the horse's mouth, no pun intended. Is a solution for sinus congestion which Unyquity passed onto me recently. I have yet to try it but I thought others here might want to know about is as well, since it certainly was news to me, best of all it's easy to do!
Dr. Christopher's remedy for sinus congestion/healing is as follows:
Blend fresh chopped up horseradish root into apple cider vinegar to a pulp (thick) and chew thoroughly 1/3 teaspoon and swallow pulp three times in a day. Each three days increase this amount used l/3 teaspoon up to one teaspoon three T.I.D.
As a follow up I asked about whether you had to eat the horseradish or could simply inhale it.
If you're using freshly grated horseradish and vinegar, I'd start with inhaling it. Put about 1/2 cup of grated horseradish in a small jar and add enough vinegar to make a soupy paste. Put the lid on it for about 15-30 minutes, then take the lid off (close your eyes) and inhale deeply. Then decide if you want to put it in your mouth or not :)
(it's good for about 4-7 days in the fridge), and just kept opening the jar and inhaling.
