Re: help me lance this final boil filled with lies
What do YOU [I] believe? That's the question.
How much we know is from facts we observed directly?
Provided that we are able to observed reality, and objectively at that, which I really doubt, how much of what we know is really “reality”?
I presume that in a the past, primitive people had to live on hard learned facts in order to survive. That's what was their sources of knowledge.
Now, a big part of “what I think” I know is from books, TV (I am in big trouble) and finally things communicated to me from people I met in my life. It relies heavily on trust.
How much of what I know is really “reality”? I submit that much of it is in the domain of believes!
Now, about the trips to the moon. Do I believe what I was told about the trips to the moon?
At that time My believe was formed from my assessment of the “a priori” probability that man went to the moon given what I was told at that time. So I believed man went to the moon.
Now my current believe is formed from my assessment of the “poteriori” probability that man went to the moon given that:
-Much of the race of to the moon is a matter of propaganda.
-We are being lied constantly by governments and the elite “for our own good”.
...
...
...
-My assessment of the probability that astronauts could come back alive from leaving the moon with the lunar landing module combined with the fact that these astronauts have to get to the moon and land with the same lunar landing module in the first place, is very low.
So, I am sorry to say that my current belief that man went to the moon as I have been told is infinitesimally small.
From X-files episode 1:
Deep Throat: "Mister Mulder, why are those like yourself, who believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life on Earth, not entirely persuaded by all the evidence to the contrary?"
Mulder: "Because, all the evidence to the contrary is not entirely dissuasive."
Deep Throat: "Precisely."
