Re: Can baking soda enemas help eliminate candida in the colon?

Is it true that baking soda is lethal to candida?

No, it is false. Candida is dimorphic, which means it exists in two forms, yeast and fungal. Acidity helps to keep Candida in a non-pathogenic  yeast form. An alklaine environment turns Candida in to a highly aggressive and pathogenic fungal form. In its fungal form Candida forms finger like protrusions called hyphae that allow it to dig deep in to tissues and organs, which is why this form is so dangerous.

And if so, would taking a baking soda solution enema help eliminate candida in the colon?

Nope.

Are there any sources that confirm this, clinical trials... personal experience? Anyone?
