As somebody who has emerged from fasts in many different ways and this last one with the most nutritious course yet, i whole heartedly agree with Mouseclick's chosen quote:
"If a person is unable or unwilling to make permanent changes in the diet and to follow a healthy eating plan before and after the fast, there really is no point in fasting. If people are concerned with losing weight, they must make permanent life-style and diet changes that they are willing to live with for the rest of their lives."
If you allow the fast to help you to eat sensibly and nutritiously (embrace the desire for healthy foods that your newly re-trained taste buds will prefer) and resist the little devil on your shoulder that wants to lead you to eat those foods which you know to be unhealthy, as well as keeping up with your exercise program, you will continue to burn fat long after you break your fast and reach your desired goal.
