Re: How many, what to expect?
Hi Peggy, it's not unusual for a natural BM not to occur after having 2
colonics in a 48 hour period. If your colon has been completely cleansed from rectum to cecum (and based on your comments this is questionable), then it does take a couple of days for the large intestine to refill and restart natural daily movements.
You might find it useful to help things along with an enema to promote a bowel movement and rehydrate your system. If your lips are dry it's an indication that you may be somewhat dehydrated. Use one teaspoon
Sea Salt or non-iodized
table salt for each pint of water prepared at 103 degrees F, or 4 teaspoons for a full bag enema.
If you have the financial resources to continue with
colonics on a semi-regular basis, I'd suggest a third within a week or two. Discuss with your therapist how she feels about your cleansing progress and the frequency of treatments she recommends. Once your colon is completely cleaned out, a monthly colonic, along with cleansing enemas at home as needed is ideal.
It sounds like you are off to a great start!
Best wishes, Valerie
