Re: Hi Beentheredonethat - I reposted at top - so we can discuss this
Observer,
No, I never felt there was any issue with you about "forgiveness" (what humanity calls "forgiveness").
Humanity/society use forgiveness to compensate for previously established "contempt"/resentment OF THE PERSON who commited the offense. God sent us "forgiveness" in order to satisfy the REQUIREMENTS of entrance into His kingdom (to "qualify" us by purification), there was no "contempt" to compensate for, we are His offspring.
Human forgiveness (of each other) serves no realistic and practical purpose (meaning it does not REVERSE time, the offense still HAPPENED), and pain and suffering (whether temporary or ongoing) remain to be dealt with by the victim (contrary to traditional teaching, everyone who disregards the victim's suffering, pain, and consequences lack compassion and are uncaring people).
People who request "forgiveness" only do that for their "seared" conscience (they don't have true love in their heart/mind). Realistically, when someone REQUESTS forgiveness, they are MOCKING THE VICTIM'S pain and suffering.
Therefore Observer, we both know that "human/earthly" forgiveness of people serves no PRACTICAL purpose,...in other words, TO US both, it is IRRELEVANT (this is a lesson that is learned from SUFFRAGE).
From learning "suffrage". I didn't just learn to "endure", I learned to actually CARE and understand the inner feeling/understanding of SORROW for those who suffer misfortune. Many people find value in being a "bleeding heart compassionist", but I don't because I know what it means to suffer.
The love that God wants us to know is very stoic (practical, arrogant/confident, and SELFish). It is not "bleeding heart" or loving others MORE than you love yourself (nor does it find any need/desire to show love to yourself). I have no need to love myself,...I simply "AM" (exist).
So, I know that in "your heart of hearts", Observer, that you FEEL (you might never have put it into words and formalized the thought) that human forgiveness serves no purpose and it would simply NOT satisfy your heart.
HUMAN forgiveness (forgiveness of each other) is simply irrelevant.
Look at the prodigal son and his dad. "Forgiveness" never was an issue (because there was LOVE).
So I never believed that unforgiveness was an issue for you (you're too much of a practical and realistic person for that), yet I did not want to ignore the fact that pain and suffering had occured.
======
Being a "seeker" is good (in theory), but in practice, many people keep seeking forever because "to seek" becomes the goal (self defeating, I've seen this in people). Labels are very confining. You are a "human being", the greatest creation to still walk this earth. "Labels" belittle the human being.
===========
"God" (the creator, great potter, origin), the inner kingdom, inner peace, all that is "good and right and true" and everything that is genuine is INTEGRAL (all one)...all the "great potter".
His pearly gates (city of God) really does exist. I don't feel that anyone should get to know Jesus in order to avoid hell, I believe people will only have a sincere relationship with Him because of LOVE. God is my "dream of dreams", He is and always has been "the perfect parent", so I have little concept (actually none) of fearing hell or the lake of fire. Besides, when I used to go visit my family, I lost my fear of hell (ha, ha, but true).
I believe that the written truths about the creator are contained in the bible. Paul used to be "Saul" and grew up learning to think as a Pharisee, and many thoughts of his (prudish, chauvinistic ways) were expressed in a way that was more fitting for the Jew/Greek Christ devotees of that time. Paul found himself addressing many of the old traditions because the Jew/Greek Christ devotees retained many old traditions (they also modernized the name to "Christian"...against Paul's will???maybe Paul gave up trying to control this rebellion). Anyway, the bible is not an authority, it is a written REFERENCE for understanding Godliness. God never said that we are going to be judged according to the bible, He said we will be judged according to the law of liberty (James 2:12).
The bible is the genuine and valid "doctrine of Christ", but the UNDERSTANDING/teaching that man provides is not.
When you read the bible, take the "good" and leave alone the "bad" (unloving, negative, troubling, etc.). The "great potter" will someday explain what you don't understand now (IF and WHEN He decides that you need to understand those truths/principles, wisdom is on a "need to know" basis).
You love Him (the great potter), become "clay" and let Him teach/mold you.
Don't "take the kingdom by force" (to FORCE it to "come to you")...
Matthew 11:12
"From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and men of violence take it by force".
Enter BY THE DOOR...
John 10:1
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber".
John 10:9
"I am the door; if any one enters by me, he will be saved".
