There is more than one reason that I don't quote other people (posters or otherwise).

I always write "Stand alone" posts (posts that contain only MY text) because then "I have something original to say" and it is not formed/determined/dependent on another person's thoughts. Not only am I doing the reader/listener (this is how I speak also) the courtesy of presenting to them MY original thoughts, but I am promoting PROGRESS in the discovery of truth, where if I wrote a "Tandem" post (a post that included the other poster's text), I would...

1)not be giving the other poster or listener the courtesy of "original thought" (a disservice/offense/sin against them).

2) I would be preventing myself from expressing what is truly/sincerely in my heart/mind (original thought, my opinion). I would even be preventing myself from FORMING "original thought" (I think as I write and respond).

3) preventing them from knowing/understanding what I really have to say (I would be keeping them from knowing "truly" what I have to say to them)...."love the TRUTH and SO BE SAVED" ("TRULY", TRULY I LOVE expressing the TRUTH of what I really have to say).

3) Since I would be preventing myself from even FORMING "original thought", I would not only be preventing my own wisdom/learning, but I would be preventing "productive and genuine conversation" (this is DESTRUCTIVE/evil).

I THINK (not sure) that my attitude about "TRUTH" could be categorized as "Existential" (truth and all goodness is integral with God and His kingdom in our heart/mind, Romans 12:2). "Original thought" expresses "who I am". All objective truth is OF GOD (John 14:6). I myself am who I am, no "authors" or worldly/earthly information form "who I am". This is how we are truly able to relate to and identify with "I am who I am" (Exodus 3:14, He shall be called "FOREVER").

I was a "Christian" for 23 years, so I know "the Gospel" (Good News) that Jesus is the savior, and I believe the same.

I pretty much agree with that article's definition of the gospel.

There are small things that I don't agree with, like informing people that they are dirty, rotten, evil scum sucking pigs (sinners) in order to introduce a loving God (this is the way they take it). They don't need to be told this (they will come to realize on their own why Jesus was sent, have faith in God, He will help them understand).

Another misunderstanding you wrote is that we should be "COMPELLED"...

Love (true love) can only be FREELY GIVEN, it cannot be compelled or legislated (made a LAW, rule, etc.). In Mark 12:30, it is commonly thought that God is ORDERING everyone who reads scripture to LOVE HIM or else there will be consequences (an ultimatum). First, God was never under the impression that people that read scripture need to be told that they should love Him (yet this is how Christians THINK because of self abasement).

Second, my love NEVER came from feeling any OBLIGATION/requirement and never will.

That verse is saying that we should LEAVE NO ROOM FO "FEAR" of Him (let our love be PERFECT, 1 John 4:18).

There is no COMPELLING (if a person is an "outlaw"/rebelious/unGodlike, they simply cannot be OF GOD).

2 Corinthians 9:7
"Each one must do as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (whenever a person decides to give help/assistance to another, they must give willingly/cheerfully, not grudgingly like a hypocrite).


Philemon 1:14
"in order that your goodness might not be by compulsion but of your own free will"...."CONSCIENCE" (having a Godly spirit will purify OUR CONSCIENCE Hebrews 9:14, the untaught part of salvation).


NOTHING should be given by compulsion, not love, help or assistance),...NOTHING that is SPIRITUAL. Man's "SPIRITUAL" is by compulsion, but GOD'S "spiritual" can only be OF OUR FREEWILL. A person will either love their heavenly heritage and fellow human being OR NOT (either/or dichotomy,..."duality"...PRINCIPLES).

God is not impressed by our knowing scripture back and forth, God wants us to know (and think in terms of) "PRINCIPLES" (Hebrews 5:12).

The principle of right and wrong is that right is right and wrong is wrong AND NEVER the t'wain shall meet. God wants us to make a CLEAR DISTINCTION between right and wrong so that there is no middle ground between the two ("no variation or shadow", James 1:17) so that the change from good to bad is clear and abrupt. He wants us to have this discerning "sword" that clearly divides between the two (Luke 12:51).

Ephesians 6:17
"sword of the spirit".

He wants us to know the principle of TRUTH (there is REAL/objective truth. There is subjective (biased) truth (so called "truth") that a person will CHOOSE as their lifestyle, and there is OBJECTIVE ("absolute") truth. Something is either completely/objectively true or IT IS NOT.

There was no objective reason why the state of Rome should have put Jesus on the cross (God WISHES that we would pay attention and learn TRUTH), so God had Pilate say "What is TRUTH?" (John 18:38). Undoubtedly, few people care/notice and ponder this verse (even though Pilate wasn't known as a philosopher nor was the question answered). I am not saying that Jesus is not the savior/purifier, He definitely is, but He only made salvation AVAILABLE to everyone on earth...

Luke 3:6
"all flesh shall SEE the salvation of God".

...but we still need the GUARANTEE (Ephesians 1:14) by knowing "principles" (either/or dichotomy) and having a discerning "sword" to know the difference between right/wrong (good/bad, good/evil, truth/untruth, positive/negative, YES/NO...let your answers be either YES or your no be no, etc.). Speak in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS so that there is no confusion about what you're saying, and "let your YES be YES" (not "YES, but...") and your no be a sure NO (allow no misunderstandings...because you care to express the truth about what you're saying)...this is what it means to LOVE (be dedicated to) THE TRUTH...

2 Thessalonians 2:10
"because THEY REFUSED TO LOVE THE TRUTH and SO BE SAVED".

So, if you think that I might be preaching a "gospel" that is not of Jesus, think again (an understandable misconception because the traditional teachings have left so much untouched).

Romans 8:16
"it is the Spirit himself bearing witness with OUR SPIRIT that we are children of God".

We should look in the "mirror" and see our real face (introspection). God wants us to notice if it is a "natural" (of a "6th day creation") face or a Godly face (new creation)...
